ensure your artwork can be reproduced on multiple products.
Maximum file size 50 MB.
Required file specs image size is 23000 x 23000 px.
Recommended resolution is 300 DPI and min resolution is 150 DPI.
When designing for your artwork, please take into account that your design might be used on embroidery products.
Designing For Print Only
We accept RGB for print; if your work is designed in CMYK, please convert it to RGB
before uploading your design. Please note that physical printing is limited to
producing the entire RGB spectrum range. There is always a certain percentage your
color might not translate 100% from your screen to the final printed product. So
make sure your design is supplied at the resolution and color requirements.
Careful attention is required when using gradients for direct to garment printing.
If the gradient has a transparent area it will fill with whatever base is placed on.
So for example, if there is a transparent gradient and it is placed on a white base
it will fill in white.
Custom brushes and textures will not always print the same as if it was printed on
paper, If printing on garments the dots would spread more than it does on paper.
Saving an image for Print
To save your image for export and print, make sure you are saving at 300 DPI
resolution and your art board is at 23000 x 23000px, this will ensure your file is
saved at the correct resolution for printing.
Formats to save your images for product placement are JPEG, PNG and transparent PNG.
These formats allow flexibility when we place your designs on products for sale.
Export your PNG for transparent designs with no interlacing, compression is not
important.
If using Adobe Illustrator for vector files, you will need to export your files as
PNG or JPEG.
Your art should be optimized and background is transparent from the PNG options.
Design embroidery tips
Use large designs- Big, bold designs are the best contenders here. Furthermore,
avoid using small, overly detailed designs; think BIG—clear fonts, simple elements,
clean lines. The more straightforward your design, the better it'll look when
stitched.
Consider proper colors, use a maximum of 16 within one design.
keep an eye out for small areas, gaps, holes, etc. within your designs; these can be
filled with color to make your final design sharper. Also, be aware that gradients
don't translate well when embroidered, if you can avoid gradients do so.
We will only accept transparent backgrounds for embroidered designs.
Your design should be submitted as one merged file, and we can only accept pngs for
embroidery.
Your final image needs to be uploaded as a PNG with transparent background or jpeg
with our recommended resolution of 23000 x 23000 pixels.
